The Morris County Park Police Child ID Unit performs an invaluable service to the families in our communities.  Throughout the year they conduct child identification programs at various functions that are totally funded by sponsors.  Under the direction of Chief William Huyler, the program collects vital information or individuals of all age.  This information such as fingerprints, physical description (height, weight, hair and eye color, etc.) along with a still photo on a floppy disk are recorded and returned to the participant or guardian for safekeeping.  Should a need arise  in the future, this information can be accessed and made available as necessary.  Since the Morris County Park Police implemented this program a few years ago, they have fingerprinted several thousand peple in the Morris County and surrounding areas.

The Morris County Park Police child identification program is dedicated to the protection of the citizens in our community by providing a vital means for locating missing, abducted, and runaway children.
